Public Lecture / Discussion On July 10
The JAD in seeking to improve the educational achievements of Deaf and Hard of Hearing children has embraced a bilingual approach to instruction. This Lecture/Discussion has been organised to:
- Share current trends and research in the Education of Deaf /Hard of Hearing students
- Promote the concept of bilingualism and the benefits of Natural Sign Language within literacy instruction
- Garner the support of major stakeholders for programme implementation.
